Located on the 7th floor of SUB, Room at the Top is the signature student bar on campus, and showcases incredible views of North Campus and the Edmonton skyline.

Whether you’re new here, or fondly remember RATT’s “groovy” panoramic views, it’s a great place to stop by when you’re in need of some down time. Here are a few things you can expect from your next RATT visit.

A menu for… well, anyone.
And any time. You can try out various Canadian beers on draft, or try a highball or mocktail, while splitting an appetizer, indulging in a burger and fries, or exploring the vegan and vegetarian options that are available. Stop by after the game, between classes, to celebrate, or just to hang out!

A birds-eye view from the top of SUB.
If you grab a seat by the window, you can see a birds-eye view of many North Campus buildings—making it a really good spot to figure out where your different classes are.

Watch the game without leaving campus.
Room at the Top is a great place to watch whatever sports you’re into, without having to leave campus. Meaning you can still catch a bit of the big game before your evening class.

Sharpen your trivia skills.
If your idea of sports is more along the lines of being Jeopardy’s next Tournament of Champions winner, you’ll be happy to know RATT’s infamous trivia nights are back starting Tuesday, Sept. 17!

Room at the Top is owned and operated by the UASU. It’s open to students, staff and alumni of the University of Alberta (along with their accompanied guests), 18+. ONEcard and government-issued photo ID are required. ONEcard/Meal Plan are accepted for non-alcoholic purchases.

If you’re interested in finding out more about how you can spend your time off on campus, we recommend checking out Dewey’s for their all-day breakfast and billiards, or grabbing something delicious to-go at The Daily Grind.
