Sustain SU provides peer-to-peer learning and support for undergraduate students to incorporate sustainability into their university experience, through initiatives like the Farmers' Market, Campus Garden, Bike Library and more.
This team of students supports the campus community by connecting their peers with academic, student life and campus resources at six locations across campus.
Leadership and Recognition
Part of the SU's Student Services, the Leadership and Recognition team coordinates the Emerging Leaders Program, SU Awards, and manages the Alberta Student Leadership Summit.
Safewalk provides students walking alone across campus or home with a safe, reliable alternative. The service's volunteers escort students across campus and within 10 blocks of any LRT station.
Student Group Services
Supporting student life at the University of Alberta, Student Group Services provides programming and admisitrative assistance to the hundreds of student groups on campus through grants, events, training and more.
Peer Support Centre
The Peer Support Centre offers free, confidential peer support to students in crisis or just need someone to talk to. The PSC also does outreach work to reduce mental health stigma and promote the discussion of mental health concerns across campus.
Venues and Programming
The SU's venues and programming department is responsible for most of the amazing events put on by the Students' Union annually, as well as operating the organization's entertainment facilities such as the Horowitz Theatre and Dinwoodie Lounge.
